The people of Beckett are headed to Indianapolis. Beckett Grading will have representatives in Indianapolis, August 5-8 as Indianapolis host the annual Gen Con Show at the Indiana Convention Center. Gen Con is the original, longest running gaming convention in the world. Beckett Grading, along with the Beckett Specialty Publications team, will be at the show all weekend taking submissions for Beckett Grading(No onsite grading) , answer 
questions about all of their services, and selling Beckett products. For more info on dates and times of the show, check out the Gen Con website.

2009 Bowman Sterling Tommy Hanson Gold Auto #35/50 BGS 9.5 AUTO 10
This card was skillfully stolen out of my checked luggage. I didn’t want to lose it so I hid it in a closed envelope inside the pocket of one of my folded pair of jeans at the bottom of my suitcase. When I got home last night, it was no where to be found. My luggage was checked at the International Airport in Charlotte, NC yesterday morning (Fri 23JUL10). Anyone have a clue if American Airlines will do anything about it? If you happen to see this card anywhere let me know, its currently the only one that is graded BGS.
For a card that is rumored to be #99 or lower, how does 29 (at the time of writing this) 2010 Topps Tribute Relic Auto 
Redemption cards of Stephen Strasburg all show up on ebay? It seems that these cards would be harder to pull than what we were all chasing with Allen & Ginter. Stay tune, something is going on here….

Topps announced the latest four cards to their 2010 ETopps set. The cards include Adam Wainwright ($4.50 – 799), Evan Longoria ($5.00 – 999), and RRO cards of Drew Storan ($5.00 – 749) and Pedro Alvarez ($7.00 – 999).
If you missed last weeks ETopps offereing of Stephen Strasburg, there are plenty selling on EBAY

This is a great set if you like the art looking cards. This box was short my game used card, and I know every box cant be a winner but I wasn’t too happy with my auto’s either.
Another short-printed variation has been found in a pack of 2010 Topps Baseball and this time it’s Milton Bradley and Abraham Lincoln teaming up. A New York collector found the card after opening a jumbo pack he bought from Walmart. The variation versions of card No. 306 has “Baseball Abe” and Lincoln’s face on the scoreboard. UPDATE – The New York collector Brian Lalonde contacted me about his great find, and to let me know a few more have been popping up on EBAY. As of Friday, three are listed on EBAY, check them out
