Last Sunday, the 18th Indy Card Exchange hosted there Kids Club Trading Day Event. Kid Club members were taught about the sports card hobby, played Pack-Wars, were able to trade with other kid’s, eat pizza and even had a special visit from Butler Blue III.

Collectors also got collector gift bags filled with items from Ultra PRO, Panini America, Topps, and Upper Deck. Check out the photo gallery below for all the Trading Day Event fun, and if your in the Indianapolis area and are interested in joining the 2018 Kids Club click here

James McWhorter is the owner of The Dugout, a sports memorabilia store located on the west side of Indianapolis. On Sunday morning someone broke into his business, and took off with a signed Peyton Manning football valued at $1,000, Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan trading cards, and cash. McWhorter said it took the thief about eight minutes to swipe nearly $8,000 worth of items. To see the story on WISH-TV click here.

A Carmel, Indiana sports memorabilia seller is in hot water after online collectors accuse him of collecting the cash but not delivering the goods. Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller said 17 consumers filed complaints with his office against Brett Lemieux, doing business as Ultimate Athlete Ink and Ultimate Sports Connection. In all, nearly $2,500 exchanged hands in the transactions involved in the complaints. Read and watch the full story over at WISH-TV.

The people of Beckett are headed to Indianapolis. Beckett Grading will have representatives in Indianapolis, August 5-8 as Indianapolis host the annual Gen Con Show at the Indiana Convention Center.  Gen Con is the original, longest running gaming convention in the world.  Beckett Grading, along with the Beckett Specialty Publications team, will be at the show all weekend taking submissions for Beckett Grading(No onsite grading) , answer questions about all of their  services, and selling Beckett products.  For more info on dates and times of the show, check out the Gen Con website.
