Membership has its privileges, and for about a hundred kids on Sunday afternoon it sure did. Indy Card Exchange hosted there first annual Kids Club Event at Daniel’s Vineyard in McCordsville and it was a huge success according to the kids. Collectors got to take part in a day full of activities which include free giveaways, Pack Wars, a grading and pricing contest, trade day, and even got a special visit straight from his busy weekend at the NFL Draft, Colts Blue made an appearance.

ToppsNothings better than when the collector can go straight to the source to get some of those card questions answered, and with all the big dogs in Chicago this last week, that’s just what collectors did. Topps hosted a Q&A with collectors on Saturday, talking about the NFL, NBA, and customer service. The most interesting thing to come out of this is the following  comments Topps made,  That seeing an insert card numbered to a certain level doesn’t mean that many cards have been distributed. For a full write up on this and the Q&A session check out the story on Sports Collectors Daily.

Another question asked of Topps at their booth on Friday was about the “Code Breaker” autograph cards that were Crawfordfound in packs. This Brandon Crawford (Right) was pulled out of a blaster box from WalMart and shown to the staff at the Topps booth, but no one seem to be able to answer anything about it, matter of fact, 3 different people came over and looked at it and didn’t say a word and walked away.
