Nothings better than when the collector can go straight to the source to get some of those card questions answered, and with all the big dogs in Chicago this last week, that’s just what collectors did. Topps hosted a Q&A with collectors on Saturday, talking about the NFL, NBA, and customer service. The most interesting thing to come out of this is the following comments Topps made, That seeing an insert card numbered to a certain level doesn’t mean that many cards have been distributed. For a full write up on this and the Q&A session check out the story on Sports Collectors Daily.
Another question asked of Topps at their booth on Friday was about the “Code Breaker” autograph cards that were found in packs. This Brandon Crawford (Right) was pulled out of a blaster box from WalMart and shown to the staff at the Topps booth, but no one seem to be able to answer anything about it, matter of fact, 3 different people came over and looked at it and didn’t say a word and walked away.
