Card Shop 20 Years Later
Posted: February 14, 2009 in Baseball Cards, Basketball Cards, Football Cards, General Card NewsBurn out might be a better way of putting it. I started this blog to write some great stories about the hobby. I have the experience, the connections, and many more great outlets for hobby info plus more. But over the last few months, I just can’t get into it. It seems like the card compaines are a joke, Beckett’s web site has went no where but down since changing their site, the few card shops around here have closed, and just the money I dumped into this hobby has became a waste. I collect mostly to collect, but I do sell some to make alittle cash for more cards, but if it’s not signed or maybe game used, you can count on not making a thing. I think it’s time to step back and see if it’s really worth it.
Each year I always put the Topps set together, and I do have two boxes of 2009 Topps on their way, but after that I’m not sure what’s to come. Have fun collecting, until next time… I’m out
A new partnership could give Beckett a run on the Price guide market. Check out this story!!!
