Panini announced that collectors that purchase a VIP Package will receive a 10-card set of cards. This set will include
NBA Draft Picks #1 pick DeAndre Ayton from the Phoenix Suns, Duke’s Marvin Bagley III of the Sacramento Kings, Luka Doncic with the Dallas Mavs. Baseball will have Ozzie Albies of the Braves, Rhys Hopkins of the Phillies, Rafael Devers from the Red Sox and Shohei Ohtani of the Angels. The last three cards will be NFL players, Cleveland Browns #1 Pick Baker Mayfield, #2 Pick Saquon Barkley of the NY Giants and Sam Darnold of the NY Jets.

Topps will have a taste of home cooking in their VIP card set. The 5 cards will include current and former Cleveland Indian players and will be a flashback to the 1983 Topps regular issue. Featured in the set are Corey Kluber, Francisco Lindor. Bob Feller, Jim Thome, and Omar Vizquel.

Card Show in Da Region

Was able to check out one of the newer shows this last weekend, Da Region Sports Card & Collectibles Expo held at The Villa Cesare Hall in Schererville. It was the second Expo to be held there, the last one was back in March and show promoter and owner of Forever Young Sports Cards Mitch LaRock looks to bring the Expo back every few months.

There was a good amount of dealers, and I believe as this show continues that number will get even bigger. A few other perks for collectors, this show was free and still gave away some nice door prizes at the end of the day. It was also nice to have autograph guest Chris Zorich. He was signing items for $25. Not sure what the autograph show budget is but it be nice to keep bringing in Region stars to sign… Ron Kittle, Hal Morris, Glen Robinson III, etc…  Keep an eye out on our Indiana Card Show Schedule when we here of the next Expo we’ll post it.

New Hobby Shop Opens in Noblesville

Now adays you hear and read more about hobby shops closing than opening but for collectors in the Noblesville area its just the opposite. Welcome to the downtown square, Bruno’s Shoebox located inside Moonshot Games at 50 N. 9th street in Noblesville. The shoebox mostly deals in vintage sports cards and memorabilia and if you think you may recognize the owner behind the counter, you probably do. Owner, Conrad Brunner has been a sports journalist for 40 years, covering the Pacers and Colts for the IndyStar and 1070 the Fan.
